Your profile

Once you have created a Supplier Profile, you can update it at any time. Keeping it up-to-date is important as the information held in your profile will be used to automatically pre-fill any pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs) you plan to submit.

If your circumstances change or additional information becomes available, please remember to update your profile as soon as possible.

Please note, if you make these changes at PQQ stage, your profile will be updated automatically.

Your categories

After you first register, you will be asked to create a list of categories relating to the goods and services your organisation is able to supply to the BBC.

It is important to keep this list up-to-date as BBC buyers use the information to source suppliers, and you may be invited to tender events based on the categories you have selected.

Please note, if you work for a large organisation or one with several departments, you may need to speak to the person who manages your Supplier registration and eTendering account as the option to update categories is only available to Super Users.

Additional users

If your organisation is large or has multiple departments, you may want to set up additional users. These users may receive auto alerts from the BBC about specific opportunities, and can also respond to individual tenders.

Having different users also gives you the flexibility of allowing key individuals to complete different sections of a tender (eg sections relating to health and safety, human resources or finance).

To help you manage tenders, you can also assign users to different 'divisions' which can be set up to reflect the structure, or business units, of your organisation. Each division can respond to tenders independently of other divisions.
